The provincial government has been enacting legislation that is effecting our municipality so we've been busy trying to understand this. Watch this 3 minute video on MZO's - Minister's Zoning Order. They seem undemocratic!!

The province is also proposing in their upcoming omnibus budget (Section 6, Bill 229) to take away the Conservation Authority's ability to look after our environment, be it flooding, protection of wetlands and biodiversity, water quality....

With Richmond Hill being part of three watersheds and the Oak Ridges Moraine this is quite concerting. What development will we see that is a short term gain! Consider watching the replay of this November 17th webinar and contacting our MPPs Daisy Wai or Michael Parsa

Please forward this to anyone and everyone that you feel might, or ought to, be interested in what is happening at our council.

Please check out the website and sign up for the updates. Be in the know!!
