  • to permit a residential development comprised of 3 single detached dwelling units and 14 townhouse dwelling units

11300 Yonge Street (Salvation Army Store plaza) - Schlegel Villages Inc.

  • proposed revised Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit an eight storey long term care facility and two 10 storey retirement home buildings with at-grade commercial uses.

  • In December 2020, Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications were submitted to the City to permit a 12 storey residential apartment building containing 277 dwelling units and 57 three-storey townhouse dwelling units subsequently, the lands were sold and on March 16, 2022, the current owner submitted the subject revised development proposal to the City.

How You Can Participate in Council Meetings

The public can observe meetings of Council and Committees by attending in-person or by viewing the livestream of the open session part of these meetings.


Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda items by email to clerks@richmondhill.ca. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting.


Delegations: No prior registration is required to make an in-person Delegation, but is encouraged. Prior registration is required should the public intend to make an electronic delegation by video conference or telephone. Applications to appear as a delegation must be submitted by 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting can be submitted by email to clerks@richmondhill.ca or by using the on-line application form. The Office of the Clerk will provide instructions on appearing as a delegation.
