Development Application slated for South Hill Plaza across from Hillcrest Mall


The City has received a request to permit a high density mixed use residential/commercial development at the South Hill Plaza located across from Hillcrest Mall.


The development would be comprised of two towers, 42 and 45 storeys in height connected by a five storey podium, with a combined total of 821 dwelling units, 756 parking spaces


The Yonge Street and Carrville Road/16th Avenue Key Development Area (KDA) is an intensification area and major node of retail and commercial development on the Yonge Street Regional Rapid Transit corridor.

There are now development applications pending in the Yonge/16th KDA for 9 towers ranging in height from 20 to 45 storeys totaling 3199 units.
