Motion coming before Council to allow car shelters in front yards

Councillor Greg Beros is bringing forth at the Wednesday December 9th Council Meeting a Member Motion to enact a pilot project on Delphinium Avenue in Oak Ridges to permit the use of temporary car shelters on front driveways from Dec. 9th to March 31st. Apparently 87.5% of residents on Delphinium Ave. signed a petition in favour of the car shelters.

Citing COVID-19, as seems to be the excuse these days, many residents are working remotely which means their vehicles are always parked in their driveways so they need car shelters.

Take Action

If you have comments or want to be a delegation on this motion please submit to the Clerk by noon on Tuesday December 8th.

An Interesting Coincidence

According to Campaign Financial Statements, Corrado Scivoletto, who lives on Delphinium Avenue, donated to Carmine Perrelli and Joe DiPaola's 2018 election campaigns.

Corrado Scivoletto is listed as the Chief Financial Officer at G Group Developments Corp. where Jack Scivoletto is the President and Stefano Guizzetti is the Co-Founder/Directing Manager. All donated to the 2018 Perrelli and DiPaola election campaigns.

You may also recall the performance by Councillors Carmine Perrelli and Greg Beros at the June Committee of Adjustment Meeting advocating on behalf of the developers, G Group Development Corp. for a minor variance. Perrelli also used COVID-19 to justify their unprecedented appearance at the meeting.
