Notice of Passing of Zoning By-law 53-20 for lands known as 7, 9 and 11 Maple Grove Avenue and 4 and 6 Aubrey Avenue. The purpose of By-law 53-20 is to permit a residential development comprised of 12 semi-detached dwelling units and 30 street townhouse dwelling units fronting onto a new municipal road.
By-law 53-20 will have the effect of rezoning the subject lands to "Semi-Detached One (RD1) Zone" and "Residential Multiple One (RM1) Zone" under By-law 313-96, as amended.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Richmond Hill passed By-law 53-20 on May 13, 2020 under section 34 of the Planning Act, R. S. O. 1990.
AND TAKE NOTICE that an appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal in respect of the Zoning By-law may be made by filing a written notice of appeal with the City Clerk of The Corporation of the City of Richmond Hill, no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 17, 2020.
Who Can File An Appeal:
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the City of Richmond Hill to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Richmond Hill before the proposed Zoning By-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of City Council.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Richmond Hill before the proposed Zoning By-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
