Resignation from CAG Executive - Carol Davidson

Today the Council Accountability Group (CAG) received the resignation notice from Carol Davidson effective November 23, 2021. We are very appreciative of all the hard work Carol has done over the past 2 1/2 years. Without Carol at the helm as a co-founder CAG would not have existed. We know what a huge volunteer commitment CAG has been and continues to be so we understand her needing to leave. We wish you all the best Carol and thank you for all that you have done for CAG and for our Richmond Hill/Oak Ridges.

A note from Carol

In 2019, Marian, Marj and I were discouraged with the direction that local politics was heading, so we created the CAG, the Council Accountability Group. CAG was built from the ground up aiming to educate and engage our neighbours, reminding them that we all have a voice in how our community operates. With the help of Paul, Adriana, Scott and others, CAG continues to grow. Regretfully, due to work and other projects, I must resign from my role at CAG. It takes many volunteer hours to keep CAG going. I urge all residents to spread the word about CAG and help support it financially. All money goes towards sharing information. The more people engaged in local politics, the better chance we will elect a Council that represents the residents in 2022.
