Richmond Hill City Manager

On Friday, June 12, it was announced that Mary-Anne Dempster has been appointed Richmond Hill City Manager. She took over the role back in February when City Manager Neil Garbe left suddenly.


The city manager is the most senior official in Richmond Hill overseeing all departments and approving all recommendations made to Council.  


No reason was given as to why Garbe left the job that paid him $294,728.45 plus $12,541.08 in benefits according to the 2019 Sunshine list.
