On the Agenda:

Request for Comments - Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Applications - Mason Sanglakhi and 2101071 Ontario Inc. - 13564 and 13580 Yonge Street (At Coons Rd.)

  • Proposal to build an eight storey residential apartment building consisting of 214 units.

  • Access to the development is proposed from both Coons Road and Yonge Street and parking is to be provided within three levels of underground parking with some visitor parking spaces located at grade.

  • 35 residents have written in opposition to this proposed development citing concerns with the height, traffic and noise and not fitting within the existing neighbourhood.

Request for Comments - Draft Plan of Subdivision Application - Montagna Capital (BT) Inc. - 1577 to 1621 Major Mackenzie Drive East (At Leslie St)

  • a proposed low density residential development to be comprised of 124 single detached dwelling units

  • In the MZO approved proposed site plan from 2020 (on right below) it was originally going include 40 storey buildings but now will have 124 single detached homes the new proposal is also carving away some greenspace
