Interesting Items on the Agenda include:
The final staff report seeking approval to update the Official Plan and zoning by-laws to permit Additional Residential Units, also known as secondary suites with appropriate development standards. These permissions would permit an additional residential unit within a ground related dwelling and within a structure accessory to such use in most areas within the City where ground-related dwellings are permitted to locate.
Staff is also seeking approval for the following applications:
178 Centre Street East (near the railway tracks) residential development comprised of 22 semidetached and 2 single detached dwelling units
4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 McCachen Street (Near King Rd & Parker) residential development comprised of 2 semi-detached and 34 townhouse dwelling units
8, 10, 12, and 14 Yongehurst Road (North of Grand Palace condos) 9-storey high density residential development with 88 units
Public Forum: Any person who wishes to speak to Council on a matter not on the agenda must pre-register with the Office of the Clerk by 12 p.m. noon Tuesday February 23rd by email to email@example.com or by using the on-line form found on Richmondhill.ca. Public Forum will be by video conference via the internet or telephone only.
Public Comments: The public may submit written correspondence regarding agenda matters by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Written correspondence must be submitted by 12 p.m. Tuesday February 23rd. Comments submitted will be provided to all Members of Council, considered as public information and noted in the public record.
