At the today's Richmond Hill Council meeting the contentious Yonge/Bernard KDA plan was initially voted down by the majority of Council (West, Cilevitz, Chan, Muench and Lui opposed) but then after much discussion Councillor Muench brought forth an amendment, that he happened to have handy, and at that point the decision was to go into closed session.
When council returned from closed session the KDA motion was brought back to be reconsidered by council. At that point Muench added his amendment and that passed and then council voted on the amendment KDA motion and it passed (5-4) (Barrow, DiPaola, Perrelli, Beros & Muench voted in favour of the motion).
Below is the motion that passed.
